The act of wearing bikinis by women has ever since been akin to the so-called emancipation of women. It has been said that for the first time a huge number of women have been able to showcase their sexuality in public places. But the truth remains though that the use of bikinis has catapulted the industry into a multi-million dollar business. It has even able to spawn other sub-industries like skin tanning and waxing. More than that, the materials used for swimsuits and bikinis themselves have been evolving through the years. For as long as there are beaches and women, the bikini industry is going to stay and reap millions in profit.
